Job Duties:

  • Initiate, implement, and inspire a big picture vision around the brands that drive our clients’ business
  • Serve as a category expert and business strategist, leading and directing performance analysis
    • Turn data into knowledge and knowledge into actionable deliverables that benefit our clients’ business
  • Proactively improve and create processes by capitalizing on opportunities to automate and improve department/agency efficiencies 
  • Participate in RFPs and lead new business pitches
  • Take risks and make difficult decisions with integrity and honesty
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with key industry partners 
  • Manage campaign deliverables and execute advertising goals/objectives by taking action to ensure our clients receive the best by listening, nurturing relationships, and resolving problems with the right balance of verbal and written communication
  • Produce and oversee timely, accurate, and effective weekly client performance recommendations, reporting/analysis, and quarterly results analysis 
  • Make strategic decisions and provide a clear sense of direction for each brand’s actions
  • Own the client relationship by using a systematic approach to create client contact points with senior level personnel
    • Build rapport and create opportunities to meet in-person with clients and become their indispensable, go-to resource 
  • Actively look for areas outside Icon Media Direct to improve client business 
  • Initiate, create, and develop client presentations and lead with confidence while actively listening to the client
  • Inspire and teach the “art” of account management by sharing strategies for success, role modeling, collaboration, and professionalism
  • Foster a team environment across agency departments through collaboration and by proactively communicating and creating the conditions for innovation
  • Challenge processes and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Ability to inspire a shared vision and communicate clear direction to internal and external stakeholders 
  • Ability to draw strategic insights from data/analytics and translate learnings into a distinct plan of action
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail and time management skills to deliver high quality work for multiple projects while meeting deadlines
  • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly-changing entrepreneurial environment
  • Innovative and able to develop new strategic solutions to business challenges
  • Ability to form strong professional working relationships with various personalities
  • Works well under pressure with a positive, can-do outlook  
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize information and provide thought leadership and strategies in the form of recommendations and new initiatives 
  • Demonstrated flexibility in job responsibilities

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Four year college degree from an accredited university
    • Marketing degree preferred, but not required
  • Five to ten years’ experience in client management, media management, and/or advertising/marketing
  • National television experience required
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Work, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) at advanced level required
