Account Coordinator

The Account Coordinator is a great way to learn advertising strategy and client interaction skills, and to cultivate an exciting career in media and advertising!  The Account Coordinator’s primary responsibilities are to support the Account Manager in order to implement recommended strategies to reach our client’s goals.   The successful candidate will be confident, self motivated, assertive, energetic and passionate about their work.  A demonstrated ability to multi-task, pay close attention to detail and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment is a must!

Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Assist the Account Manager (AM) with daily account and business needs.
• Understand account's overall strategic and tactical objectives, assisting with the implementation of marketing media plans and ongoing maintenance.
• Maintain files containing all pertinent product/client information.
• Review client telemarketing scripts and ensure websites are consistent with current campaign offers.
• Create professional correspondence and presentations as needed.
• Review industry publications to build knowledge of DRTV, hit shows, trends, etc.
• Work with AMs to learn industry terms and develop an understanding of the workings of a campaign from start to finish including telemarketing, fulfillment, call centers, dub houses, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements include:
  • College degree is preferred.
  • At least 2 years experience in a professional business environment is required, preferably in the Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations or Electronic Media industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and maintain excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated flexibility in job responsibilities. Due to fluctuating demands, and the nature of Icon Media Direct's business flow, it may be necessary for each team member to perform a multitude of different functions not specifically outlined above.
  • Microsoft Office 2007 proficiency (Word, Excel (Advanced Level including pivot tables), Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer)
  • General office equipment (copier, fax, multi-line phone, etc.) experience. 

The Account Coordinator will demonstrate a helpful, pleasant and professional demeanor.  Excellent communication skills are required.  Salary is based on skills and experience.
