Account Manager

Icon Media Direct, Inc. is the advertising industry’s premier Direct Response media agency.  We specialize in Direct Response media services, including Short Form and Long Form television (U.S. and Canada), Spanish language television, and Print.  Our corporate office is located in the Los Angeles area (Van Nuys) and currently we have full-time Account Manager positions available in our Client Services Department. Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Develop, understand and implement client’s strategic objectives;
• Monitor client’s budget and spending to ensure profitability;
• Interface regularly with client to ensure an ongoing rapport and insight into their business;
• Present new opportunities that would be suitable to client’s objectives;
• Monitor bookings to ensure highest response;
• Work with Buyers to cancel, add or change media;
• Create and distribute appropriate reports, i.e. Post Log, Station Ranking, Station Detail, Spot Reports, Flash Report, etc.;
• Standard and customized client reporting per client’s request;
• Daily and weekly results analysis;
• Interface with Icon Media Buyers to ensure media schedules are optimized;
• Generate PowerPoint Presentations to report client results and new opportunities, as needed.
• Regularly pull consumer research and competitive reports;
• Attend weekly Buyer’s meeting to ensure client media goals and update on current state of the industry;
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required.  Additional business or marketing classes preferred.
• At least 5 (five) years experience in client management, media management, and/or advertising/marketing.
• National television experience highly preferred.
• Microsoft Office 2007 proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer) at advanced level.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and maintain excellent organizational skills.
• Demonstrated flexibility in job responsibilities. Due to fluctuating demands, and the nature of Icon Media Direct’s business flow, it may be necessary for each team member to perform a multitude of different functions not specifically outlined above. Team members are expected to help out in other departments when requested.
