Data Management Coordinator

Icon Media Direct is looking for a Data Management Coordinator to help process and oversee the data our experts use to implement highly efficient media campaigns for our clients.  The Data Management Coordinator will direct the movement of data across multiple systems. Oversee the data quality and validation to make sure that it is available to appropriate people and systems within the organization as well as to other data-related assets. The ideal candidate will plan, organize, coordinate and perform activities that protect or enhance our data and its value.

Job Duties:

  • Collect, edit, and transform operational data to meet reporting criteria
  • Electronically import and export daily, weekly and monthly data files into business systems
  • Analyze how data is received and how it will need to be organized based on required system specifications
  • Manually source orders for non-automated campaigns
  • Work with functional and technical staff to resolve data-related issues
  • Maintain the integrity of our database structures by ensuring data quality
  • Use system utilities to troubleshoot faulty database information
  • Check telemarketing/web activity reports and data files daily/weekly for data integrity
  • Work with vendors to correct problems with data and/or files
  • Assist with creating reports for staff and clients as mandated
  • Troubleshoot issues and track progress and resolutions logged in the Help Desk software while providing excellent customer service throughout resolution process
  • Work with staff to define, develop, and document data sources for institutional planning
  • Serve as resource for assessment information to staff
  • Complete Setup Agreements and assist in back-end setups

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, data management or a related field is strongly preferred
  • Minimum three years of experience working on highly detail-oriented projects in developing and/or maintaining data reporting systems
  • Experience with data management and relational databases a must
  • Microsoft Office 2010 & 2013 proficiency (Word, Excel: Advanced Level including pivot tables & charts, Outlook, PowerPoint) required
  • Experience with concepts regarding SQL querying, data mining and database structures
