Icon Media Direct Takes 3 Communicator Awards for OxiClean Campaign

Icon Media Direct received three awards in this year’s annual Communicator Awards for their OxiClean Kid’s Talking Campaign.

The print campaign was awarded a Silver Award of Distinction in the Magazine Ad category, a Silver Award of Distinction in the Advertising Campaign category, and a Gold Award of Excellence in the Design category. The campaign was also featured as a finalist in the 2007 Adweek Buzz Awards.

CEO Nancy Lazkani states, “We are incredibly proud to be recognized in not one but three different categories, which is a testament to the hard work that went into developing the campaign. Our goal, first and foremost, is to create campaigns that are profitable for our clients, but to be nationally recognized for the skill that goes into executing them is icing on the cake.”

The Communicator Awards is sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts, an invitation-only group consisting of top-tier professionals from acclaimed media, communications, advertising, creative and marketing firms. AIVA members include executives from organizations such as Airtype Studio, Big Spaceship, Conde Nast, Coach, Disney, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Estee Lauder, Fry Hammond Barr, Lockheed Martin, MTV Networks, Pitney Bowes, rabble+rouser, Sotheby’s Institute of Art, Time, Inc, Victoria’s Secret, Wired, and Yahoo!
